Dating is Amazing!

I started courting Rhoda Carol Stoltzfus who is from my youth group at Shade Mountain Christian Fellowship in December. She teaches school at our church school there and does reallly well with children. I was aware that her interests and mine were similar in many ways, and decided to ask her about starting a relationship. I have been finding out that we have even more in common than I had observed previously! I praise God for allowing us to share this relationship. It is both of our desire to have God get glory and us grow closer to Him through our relationship. Pray for us, please.

Seeing how God was leading us, I was feeling that Rhoda and I should spend the rest of our lives together. I had affirmative counsel from my father and also sought counsel from a few other people who are involved in my life. Wanting to honor her parents as well, I took her dad on a date and discussed the possibility of marrying Rhoda. He was willing and ready to allow me to do that. Today Rhoda and I had a private lunch at my parents' house and I proposed to her. She had been in prayer for some time about this as well and was ready to give me her affirmative answer. Oh, the thrill of kneeling together in prayer and sealing our commitment to purity and faithfulness to our great God who thought up the idea of a man and woman becoming one. Pray for us as we plan for a summer wedding.
